I have been in trouble with the police recently, and the case is on going at the moment. I lost my job because of this, and the other day, the police went into my old work and asked the manager about something sensitive they found out. The manager, then told his friend, who told another person and then they told somebody else, and it kicked off a bit of a fuss.
I was wondering, is anybody in breach of anything? like, the police or the manager at my old job?
@bednobs - uhm, they basically said to him "this person has X on their phone, do you know these people in this picture?" (this manager knew nothing about the case prior. And then the manager told his friend exactly what they showed him and asked him.
@New Judge uhm, It wasn't really a true or false thing, technically. It was an image and they told him "a certain person was arrested, do you know these two people in the image?". He said no, then told his friend after.
for a start it would be in the furthering of an investigation
and I cant think of anything that would be confidential besides advice a legal professional - and there are instances of even that being recorded
on the information given
I think this is a non starter
