If Aunty Beeb follows her usual way of doing things, this will probably be the last regular weekly quiz of the year. (We normally get 4 x 13-question quizzes, covering the whole of the year, around Christmastime).
At least I managed to finish off the year fairly well, with a score of FIVE out of seven on the main quiz

and FOUR out of five on the junior one

There's still scope for you to do better though!
Your turn!

One of my best weeks as I scored
6/7, 4/5
Despite having many other jobs to attend to, I have been having to spend time this week in my back garden trying to sort things out after storm Darragh. I hope you managed to avoid the storm and any damage.
Just about there now with all the Christmas shopping, with only a few items to purchase. I really need to plough on with all the wrapping up now. I enjoyed choosing the gifts for my granddaughter and grandpuppy this year.
Hope all is well with you and kitties and wishing you all a wonderful week ahead:-)
Oh well, Patsy. Better luck in the four-part end of the year quiz!
Well done on achieving near-perfection, twice over this week, Karamia!
My garden is in such a state that anything a storm could do to it would almost certainly be an improvement anyway!
Most of my Christmas shopping and wrapping is out of the way but I'm stilll waiting for Waterstones to deliver a couple of books to me (which were ordered about a week ago and shown as 'normally ships in 1 to 2 days' but which they've not yet dispatched) and for an Amazon Marketplace trader to send me some air drumsticks (which are due for delivery by Monday). As I've then got to post them all off to Sheffield, I'm hoping that they won't take much longer to get here!
Did you ever get around to trying the big quiz that I linked to last week?
Have a good week anyway!
That sounds cheaper, Scorpiojo, so (as I'm a skinflint by nature) I'm happy to go along with your suggestion π°
Hi, Sam!
I'm remarkably well for a doddery old fool, thank you!
I hope that you're in fine fettle too!
I'm sure that you're really just saving up all your correct answers for the 4-part end-of-the-year quiz π
2/7,4/5. Bailey had his follow up trip to the vets this week, can either continue with the conservative management or have a minor operation that will cost £1,780. Vet looked a bit surprised when I said we would continue with the conservative management for the moment. Has another follow up in 3 weeks time so we will see how it goes. Puss Puss just being the normal ginger ninja. Hope all is good with you and yours
5/7 v 5/7
4/5 v 3/5
Didn't realise I knew so much about footie....
Just about recovered from Darragh, only the conservatory roof to fix now. Last visit to the Vet on Tuesday to complete all Gobolino's jabs and ops.
Hope you've had an interesting week, written all your cards and provided pre Christmas delights for the terrific trio. π
Oh dear........ :( 4/7 and a lucky 2/5 ....... GUESSES ALL COUNT !
A shockingly bad week. I only knew 3 of the answers. I'm putting it down to the lurgy, which is horrible, and OH is now on antibiotics. Time yet to regroup for Xmas. A fun Xmas do with the writing group this a.m..
Seriously - I'd not heard of half the questions!!!!!!!!
Hi Canary42!
I'll assume that you're simply saving your best efforts for the big 4-part quiz which Aunty Beeb has presumably got tucked up her sleeve (if past years are anything to go by) π
Hi, Campbellking!
Isn't it odd how 'minor' operations never seem to come with 'minor' price tagsβ
I hope that darling Bailey will be fully fit (and without the need for a big hole in your bank balance) very soon!
My lot are all as annoying-but-adorable as ever!
Have a good week!
