Smoke Alarm Battery Replacement Fireangel Sw1

I'm struggling to remove the power adapter from the unit so that I can replace the battery. Any tips please? It's a FireAngel SW1 mains powered smke alarm. I've looked on YouTube and the Internet already but no clues. Thanks

I took the cowards way out and paid a guy to supply and fit three new batteries..  It cost me £75 but the batteries may outlive me.
