advice needed asap please!!!.........

I have been offered a Toshiba Satelite Pro 4300 series Laptop with Windows 2000,

Printer is a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 350 comes WITHOUT manuals. Person wants �60. Is this a good deal? I haven't a clue about anything like this, it's just my 14 year old son is pestering for one!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance Jackie :)

The Sat Pro 4300 is quite outdated now and will struggle running XP, Windows 2000 is a business operating system so I'm guessing the seller got it as his work were getting rid of them.

To be honest for �60 you won't get a lot for your money so if all your son wants a laptop for is surfing, e-mail and word processing then it's not a bad deal, however he won't be able to play many games and with most 2nd hand laptops I wouldn't imagine the the battery will last very long.
