is there a time limit from the time someone commits a crime (conviction)to the next conviction (offence now) that a judge desides that is has been too long in between....under the criminal justice act 2003? is there a time frame ny where in that act regaurding past convictions and that it can be admissible in sentencing?

there is no time limit,if he has committed previous crimes,it will be brought to the judges attention,before he is sentenced for this crime.
If he has committed previous crimes and not been charged, he can admit to these offences and they can be 'Taken Into Consideration' (TIC), at the time of sentence.
yeah, if you murder someone more than 5 years ago they forget about it.
