unfit to stand trial????

Could you tell me what happens when someoe has got a sick note saying that they are unfit to stand trial. Judge then ajourned and now wants pschological assessment done as this is always the excuse given by this person. What happens if it comes back that she IS unfit to stand trial? Willl the case be wiped? 2 counts of ABH is the charge. its at the crown court.

No it will not get wiped!! if she is so bad that she cant stand trial, she may end up being committed!!

If he is unfit as in not mentally competant to take part in the proceddings then the court will consider the prosecution case and if satisfied that there is evidence to convict the court will then make an order under the mental health act
