Holiday in the US with a caution

I got cautioned by the police at easter and now my rents want to take us on holiday to the US. They currently dont know about the caution and Im hoping they wont have to. But would i be able to get into the US without an hassle or will a caution show up in big shiny letters and a whole load of embarrasment ensue? would i need to go to London and get a visa?
