uninsured drivers-penalise them how-jail ?

uninsured drivers what should happen to them ? , jail isnt practical ther are only about 1000 empty places, think about every time there is a terrorist alert, and suspects ot terrorism, are rounded up, and placed in custody, they have to have some empty places the prison authorities , for this emergency situation, uninsured drivers are not a priority ......... photo,dna,dabs taken any practical suggestions community service , they are over subscribed ....any replies ???

they should have their kneecaps taken out and their hands cut off.
I know it sounds maybe a little on the harsh side, but if they crashed into you whilst your driving around in your pride and joy that you work hard to pay for and insure....then why should this scum be allowed to drive....as soon as they are banned...they will continue to drive...so if you make sure they cant..then they cant..!!
My preferred option would by hanging..but i think i might be voted against for that idea!!!!

Yeah, it's totally unfair that young newly passed drivers like my son have to fork out over a thousand pounds for insurance and those that are found not to have insurance are only fined a couple of hundred pounds. If that's the only 'punishment' they are going to get then no wonder they are all doing it. They should have their cars taken off them and they should be banned for 10 years......with the police checking up on them !
