Saving pictures online somewhere?
7 Answers
Hi!
On Wednesday a technician is coming to put a new Hard drive into this computer, apparantly this one has given up the ghost and needs replacing. He has said that we will lose everything (which we figured would happen) so I have been trying to save our pictures onto disc and flash stick but it won't work (I take it this is because of hard drive being kaput).
Is there anywhere online I can save these files safely so I can then retrieve them back again when we have the comp up and running properly again?
Sorry if it is a silly question but I don't want to lose these pictures (there's quite a few) and just want the ease of saving them in cyberland to then put them back again easily.
Many thanx for any help :o)

Mine went a few months back and thanks to good folks on here I managed to get everything I wanted off the old kaput drive. I bought a thing called an ICY box, into which the old drive fits. I then ran a free program from the same people as do the Gimp photo program. I ran this through the old drive and it got everything off. no trouble. I will dig around and find the exact name for you.
