One of my previous employers is being investigated by the police for fraudulent activities. I was contacted by the police last November and asked to provide a statement. This was done under caution but i was free to leave at any time. I was yesterday contacted by the police as they want me to make my statement official as the case is now proceeding to court. Do I have to do this or can i advise the police i do not wish to be involved anymore. If i do this can they summons me to court?

If your statement was made under caution then at the time you were treated as a suspect. If the Police want to re-interview you they can only do this under very limited circumstances. It might be in your interests to agree, if you have nothing to hide. But insist on having a solicitor present. If you are under caution you can have one free of charge.
