My friend has been charged with GBH with intent for biting someones lip while they were fighting, can anyone tell me how long he will be looking at getting, theres no evidence but he was picked out of the id parade

Being picked out in ID means that there is evidence against him.
A simple bite to someone's lip does not constitute GBH. See Section 5(v) here:

So your friend must have caused some very serious injuries. GBH with intent is an extremely serious offence; it's roughly akin to 'attempted murder' and carries the same maximum sentence of life imprisonment. The 'starting point' for a sentence relating to the least serious forms of GBH with intent is 4 years. Judges are advised to examine the circumstances and pass a sentence in the range 3 to 5 years. The starting point for the most serious forms of GBH with intent (unless a life sentence is appropriate) is 13 years (with a possible range of 10 to 16 years).

hi just to let you know my auntys brother was attacked from behind by a guy with a crow bar for no reason he dint know him even he fractured his skull and neally killed him he was in hospital for 5 months the poor lad cant work cant drive and his life is ruined and you know what the animal got he got 14 months and served 6 months if thats justice 6 months for neally killing someone,
