I have been looking into traveling to the USA but I was convicted of a deception charge over 7 years ago over a 1, although it was my first offence which I regret the authorities locked me up! Maybe I should of committed murder might of got away with it as people seem to get locked up over minor offences but not major offences in this Country. Which I think is ridiculous!! I was thinking of applying for a Visa to go to the USA as apparently I'm not entitled to use the Visa Waver scheme as a UK citizen because of my criminal record which I'm not proud off. What is the likelihood of being accepted into the USA with such a minimal offence has anyone else had a similar experience and got a Visa accepted to visit the USA?
