how do i trace someones email address using just their name

hi, please can someone help. im trying to locate an old friend threw email as iv had no luck in other ways. does anyone know how to find an email address using just a persons name? and if its a free service or do i pay?

unless they were daft or careless enough to use their real name for their email address you are pretty much on a hiding to nothing with that one : )

As dot so rightly says,unless they were stupid enough (there are some) to use their actual surname as (or in) their email address,you won't be very lucky.
Rightly or wrongly,there is not yet,(and maybe never will be) a Directory Enquiries of EMail addresses.
