What to Expect for Assault

I posted here last mth but charges haev changed .
I have been charged for assault to injury , i went to someones house an entered property without permission (changed from forced entry) an hit a guy across chest with piece wood ,he suffered slight bruising n slight swelling to the chest area, that did NOT require medical attention ,i had a an assault charge in 2007 admonished ,wat could be expecting this time ? have moved away from my co-defendant,not had any contact with them and i have settled into new house with my kids and jsut generally trying to get on with life an stay out of trouble

Hi B you are looking at getting a community penalty which might include unpaid work or supervision which would be monitored and supervised by your local Probation Office. If I were you I would get a solicitor to represent you in court because in my experience people represented by solicitors tend to get lighter sentences.

Hi , i received 225 hrs community service , ive learnt my lesson and i shall get my head down and complete this penalty with no objections and i shall from now on stay away from trouble and put my children first
