I have a valid 10 year USA visa, however it is in my old out of date EU passport. can I still use it?????

when I had an"indefinate stay" visa for the US, the passport office of the British Embassy in Dubai [ where I lived at the time] issued me with a new Brit passport and sealed the old one together with the new one with a lovely seal and pink ribbon, made me feel ever so important when I flashed it at an airport.Sadly by the time I wanted my next pasport the US visa had been cancelled by US immigration in San Francisco.
