What is the difference between being read your rights and receiving a police caution and how will I know the difference?

A caution is when the police think you have done somthing but are not totally convinced. They would then qs you and may charge you with an offence. Anyone arrested by the police has to be read there rights. it is a requirement that this is done but after qs you could still be released without charge
