Possesion With Intent to supply

A friend of mine got arrested with a half ounce of cocaine, which turned out to be crack. He has told the police he was bullied into holding it for someone. Its his first offence, he's never even been arrested for this and he has a few people willing to give him a few good character reference. Does anyone have any idea what he will get or does anyone have any advice for him.
