Buying a new Laptop .. another question
1 Answers
Sorry I have asked a few questions about buying a laptop before, but I want to make sure before buying it. I have seen some in John Lewis at the less expensive end of the market, and now I have seen some Acer and Compaq in Tesco. As I have said before, I already have an office-size computer and just need a laptop for using when I am too lazy to go and use this one in the other room. I mainly need it for the internet and loading photos, I won't need it for documents in Word or printing. Can someone tell me what sort of size memory etc. I will need as I don't want to buy a cheaper one and find it doesn't have enough space. It needs to run the Internet quickly and as I say, load plenty of photos. Laymens terms please !

I would recommend you give consideration as to how you will connect the laptop to the internet. Unless you intend to run additional cables, I would recommend you get yourself a wireless router and ensure that the laptop has wifi connectivity built in. That way you can use the laptop to surf from anywhere in the house.
