If a report is made by a member of the public that drug dealing is being carried on, what are the chances, realistically of the police investigating?

Sandy, did you read further back into the thread where I made a distinct division between cannabis and heroin?
I take it you don't believe that drug use is a slippery slope? Nobody ever starts off with a toke and ends up using the heavier stuff?
Sandy does everyone who has a drink in the pub at dinnertime end up drinking a bottle of Vodka every night
liberals in stinking sandals in get your heads in gear, drug dealers are evil killers, defend them and forever be damned for all eternity, they are parasites on the backside of humanity, want to excuse and sit beside them, take a trip to your local mortuary!!!
I've drank enough, and seen enough drinkers, to know that regulars do become addicted. Many more than you might think
I just KNEW someone would throw in the old "one thing leads to another" cliche.
*Sigh* here we go again - yes heroin users probably started off with pot, but before that alcohol. Now, out of the MILLIONS of habitual drinkers/pot smokers - how many of them do you think will end up using heroin ?
With respect and just out of interest how much actual real-life personal experience have you had around drug users ?
Prudentia one of my friends died early last year of alcoholism i take it you would like alcohol banned and class anyone who sells the stuff as killers
Prudentia, have you had some real personal issues with drug addiction or are you just a drooling jack-booted fascist nutter ? (or both)

They should legalise it in a controlled area.
Provide the stuff to those who want it,they are then responsible for their own demise.
Takes out all the dealers and crime committed by those to get the money to buy the stuff.
The only problem is it's a multi million pound industry and a lot of people make a fortune out of it.
Those in power included.
All corrupt.
My drug of choice was alcohol. There used to be a club in the city where I live opened at 6 AM. Any morning I went there it was packed.
I don't know much about other drugs, but I've read that marajuana is responsible for an increase in mental health problems in young people.
A sizable number of drinkers do end up as alcoholics. I'd guess a number of 'smokers' will end up as addicts too
I lost a loving, caring and innocent nephew to a violent drug dealer, enough, or do you want the coroners report, sicko, may the god you will never acknowldge forgive you, though I very much doubt it,. going to bed, disgusted with such evil comments.
Well, my personal experience includes being around HUNDREDS of friends and family who are or have been occasional or regular users of pot.
Not one of them went onto using heroin.

rudentia, don't you think you are letting personal experience rule your head - you have NO F*CKING RIGHT to refer to me as a "sicko" you no NOTHING about me.
Answerprancer you will learn to agree with some of the peope on here or get insulted it happens all the time.
HOW DARE YOU refer to me as a "sicko" I never called you anything like that, you have NO RIGHT to judge me in this way.
Yes, indeed, f*ck off to bed and good riddence.

MightyWBA, I think along those lines too. I'd sooner see the criminality taken away. It wouldn't take the drugs away but I'm sure it would be less sordid.

(BTW good win for you on Saturday. I'm a Gunners fan!)
sorry for you, sicko, really sorry for you, maybe one day you will understand real life, and switch off eastenders.
