If your plea is guilty then you do not have another hearing for case management...plea and directions. It depends on if you are on bail, if you were on bail then you will be released on bail and have to return when date is set for sentence.Plus the judge would then use this opportunity to get pre sentence reports. Hope this helps

The more serious cases are taken to crown court which is what is happening. The fact he has pleaded guilty means he will get one third off his sentence when he gets sentenced by the judge at crown court. The nevt date he get will be to go to crown court for sentence, they may not sentence him immediately because the judge may ask for pre sentence reports etc, so may ask him to come back again for sentenceing. He will usually indicate if a custodial sentence is likely depending on the charges.
