hiya, did he do it? Will he plead guilty or not guilty?
I don't know what a PYO is He sounds more like a PR%£K..For his own sake and yours he would be better off getting a long prison sentence.. its the only thing that will make him think of his actions ..before he kills someone
Question Author
Yes he did do it, but the guy has exagerated, it was a fight where the two guys went looking for my son an his mates. Hes pleading not guilty.
a persistent young offender ? I assume, he'll be locked up
....or better still, some good counselling to find out who or what made him this way in the first place and how to turn it around.
Question Author
A PYO is a persistant young offender.
Question Author
Yes he does need counselling he was diagnosed and statmented when he was at school by the EP(Educationl Psycologist) with EBD(Emotionl Behaviour Disorder), due to myself an his father parting when he was 5 and always being et down by him. In no way is this an excuse for his behaviour but he has until this incident been sorting himself out by getting a job an staying out of trouble an had been doing well. I would just like some advice on what sentence hes likely to recive not to be judged by ppl that dont know the full story!
yay me for being brainy!
sounds like a basic of 4 years before leniency for a guilty plea and any social reports that should pick up on family 'background' ....he may get away with 18 months but the previous form doesnt help his cause
"In no way is this an excuse for his behaviour" I don't see it as an "excuse" I see it as a reason due to circumstance.
We all make mistakes in life, so no one has the right to point the finger IMO.
Sh1t happens and I would like to think that people like this can be 'turned around' if put in the right hands.
Sorry I can't be of much use with advice re "what sentence" - just don't give up hope is all I can say.
Good luck to all concerned.
This so reminds me of a situation I have seen between a good friend of mine and her son who is close to being done for something like this - he has SERIOUS anger problems :-(
(absent father etc)
Question Author
Yes my son has serious anger problems too. Thankyou.
"Yes he did do it" ...."Hes pleading not guilty."

Err, why?
luckily he will get a custodial sentence and come across many other angry young men inside who will persistently beat the $h!t out of him and teach him a practical lesson
Good thinking kinell...

Not that it would make him more angry or anything..!!!
