Survey company ........
Sorry about the title - my brain is very much still asleep.
I do surveys on-line with a company - Consumer Voice Panel CCB Fastmap. It appears to be a legit company - but after Googling it I find that other people are in the same position as me.
Initially surveys were sent out with a payment payable for doing the survey. When your balance reaches a figure (£45 - I think) you will receive payment. My balance has been stuck at about £40 for ages and no further surveys have been sent out.
Each month I am sent a boring survey with a chance to win money - but with no payment.
I know that there others with the same problem so it isn't just me. I emailed the company and got an email back saying that once my balance reached the magic figure I would get my money.
I know that this is morally wrong but are there laws governing such companies and situations like this?
Any help would be appreciated.

I had some time to kill a couple of years ago and signed up to two of these survey companies. One required £30 to cash out and they stopped emailing at £28. The other paid out at £5 but paypal said their link was invalid. Emails to those companies went answered on the latter whilst the first one said they in effect didn't believe my answers so the 'contract' we had was terminated.
I too have heard stories where individuals have received nothing or emails have stopped just short of paying out.
My tip is STEER CLEAR OF SURVEY PANELS/COMPANIES.
