An ill eagle is en entirely different kind of animal.

I imagine even a towing company would be reluctant to tow a car that had a baby on the seat; but you'd be charged with neglect
The RSPCA would prosecute you if you left such an animal in a locked car.
I wouldn't expect you average local council tow truck driver to be aware of such a law so I wouldn't personally rely on that. Just leave your hazards on, it seems you can park anywhere you like if you leave your hazards on!

i never said it was a baby monkey - just a small one

but if the rspca wouldnt look too kindly on you for having one in the back of your car

what about an ill eagle or a poorly barn owl??
You DO realise that the place for frivolous posts is Chatterbank and NOT the Law section ?
I meant baby human, in case you were looking for ways not to be towed, but the same objection would apply with animals, as hc suggests: you mightn't get towed, you would get prosecuted. The barn owls benevolent society is very hot on these things.
You'd probably be okay with a few bats hanging around inside........
You'll be ok if it's an albino ferret.
Funny you should ask cos I did this the other day but I got away with it cos there was no warden around.
"it seems you can park anywhere you like if you leave your hazards on"

That seems to be true. I was just thinking the same thing the other day with a car parked on double yellows, half on and half off the pavement. Car had hazard warning lights on so obviously it was ok.
