EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance)

I receive EMA ; 30 pounds a week. Last week we finished for the holidays, but it's usual to get that weeks 30 pounds this week ... a week in hand. Still with me? I think it's possible we get a bonus as well, but I'm unsure.
Anyways, I havent received the thirty pounds. I usually get it on a Thursday, todays Saturday. I was thinking maybe because of the bank holiday, something is delayed?
I know a lot of people out there receieve EMA...so, any help please?

Hi Phil

 

I have just checked a web site for you Iam sure it is only paid term time only.  Your right they pay bonus of �100 in Jan and July and  also in October if you go back for a second year.  You are still able to get a part time job and it wont be affected.    If you go to the following websit  www.direct.gov.uk  It should answer some of your questions.
