We have just given notice on our rented house (1 month) and the landlord wants to remarket and has asked us to advise convenient viewing times.

Do we have to comply or are we within our rights to make them wait until we have vacated?

Thanks.

Check your tenancy agreement.

Mine states that in that situation then I have to allow people to view it.
It depends on your contract. When I had tenants the agent had to give them a minimum of 24 hours` notice of a viewing. They could refuse if it was inconvenient for them but they were expected to co-operate. Is there an agent managing the place (such as an estate agent)? You could phone them and ask what the situation is.

There is an agent and it is they who have requested advice on convenient times.

I'll check our tenancy agreement.

Thank you.
My contract states that I have to give reasonable access for viewings if the agent wants to remarket. Is there any particular reason that you do not want them to come whilst you are still there as your landlord is seemingly reasonable as he is asking you for convenient times for you and seems willing to work around you?
You may find the situation doesn't come up,some estate agents don't like showing people around while there is a tenant in situ, tenants tend not to give a good sales pitch and tell it like it is, warts and all.
