Thank you all who have been passing on good wishes to my husband regarding his recent illness.

I am very sorry to tell you that my truly wonderful and much loved husband, Gary, passed away at 4.40 this morning. To say I am devastated would be an understatement and I just feel that I am having a bad dream and will wake up soon and he will be ok. I am going to be lost without him and not sure how I am going to cope on my own after 26 years of marriage.

Thank you all and yes, he did, redman. They disconnected the machines and stopped his medication at 11 am yesterday and he fought till 4.40 am today. I have to admit the end was very difficult to watch, but I am glad I was there with him.
