Lawyers or Police Adminstartion
I was placed on NYPD review for the second time. The first time they just let my exam expire causing me to lose the job without providing why I was on hold. This is a new exam and I was told that they must provide me a reason before the expiration and if I disagree with there decision I can appeal it. It looks like they are just going to leave it idle and let the exam expire before they give me a reason again. I spoke with a lawyer and was told he will go to court for me and force them to give me a reason which I can then appeal and move on with the processing. The problem is the lawyers are to expensive and I cannot afford them.
My question is can I go to the court myself and file whatever is necessary asking the NYPD/Civil Service to provide a reason why I am placed on hold, also if I can what would I need to file and how do I go about this?????
