House moving boxes?
Does anyone know the best & cheapest way to obtain boxes for moving house? I want to start packing for our house move, but supermarket boxes are now crushed & would probably not be strong enough anyway.
Thanks

Other than that, we have one of those 'Jumbo Self Storage' places near to where I live and they sell boxes and packing materials at quite a reasonable price. Is there one near to you?
Hello SuzySues, the problem with getting boxes from supermarket shops etc are they are normally not strong enough to hold your belongings and when stacked on top of each other can collapse. Unfortunately you will only find this out on the day and can add to the stress of moving.
Always buy double walled proper removal boxes as you can always use them as well for storage after your move. Also the larger boxes that you can buy are not really ideal for moving as people seem to overfill them and then cant move them. But if you do want to use them then only really use for bedding etc.
