Can I bring a Malicious Prosecution claim in the County Court
1 Answers
I would like to sue someone who made criminal allegations against me that resulted in charges and a trial. I was acquitted and have evidence that the original allegation was known to be untrue when it was made. My question is can I claim for loss of earnings and damages in the County Court on the basis that the allegations were dishonest and malicious?

I don't know if you can bring a claim against the person who laid the charge. Even if you did would they be worth suing?
