I believe I am the subject of threatening behaviour from a band's road crew at a local music venue. After I was seen taking photos at a recent concert I was threatened with being thrown out if I didn't stop. Am I right in thinking this could be construed as being threatening behaviour?

Should you have been there taking photos?
Are they continuing to threaten you?

Were you thrown out of the concert?

How 'recent' are we talking?

No I shouldn't have been taking photos and no I wasn't thrown out of the venue as I left after being told I would be ejected from the premises I didn't stop. I interpreted the threat as being that I would be physically manhandled out of the building.

This was last night btw
I think you interpreted it correctly.
You were in the wrong for taking the photos and had the choice to stop, or to leave.......you left.

Quite how they would have assisted you to leave is now moot.
I don`t understand why you feel wronged. you are not allowed to take photos and got told if you did you would have to leave, sounds reasonable enough to me !!
I wouldn't call it threatening behaviour, under these circumstances. They wanted you out.
good word "moot" we don`t use it enough you know..
..and usually they say 'mute' instead of 'moot' anyway... mute point always makes me laugh to myself :)

An amusing little exchange.
Little more to add - oh, except that flash photography doesn't interfere with fire detection equipment.
Shame it spoiled your evening but no doubt if you'd stopped filming there would have been no further action. If you'd persisted then the organisers would have asked you to leave.

I think "thrown out" is a turn of phrase. You would only be manhandled if you were behaving so badly that you needed restraining.

Stick to the rules in the future and you'll feel far less agreived.
no it isnt. dont be silly
