Hi, here is my little rant about stuff.

I am a registered business seller on eBay and process a lot of transactions.
Lately one customer disputed the transactions claiming that the item received is not as described. I sell only one type of merchandise and have over 200+ positive feedbacks and 100% overall ratings.

Now, on the first day I accepted the return and refund going by the eBay procedure with email sent to buyer with return address and so on.

Today, 8 days later I have e-mailed customer service using there dispute panel informing them that the buyer has not returned the merchandise or had the intention of returning it but I guess I should have watch some jeremy kyle as it is clear nobody actually reads anything at the eBay office.

This evening eBay had the courtesy of refunding the buyer leaving me without the item or the money. Not to mention the P&P costs. Oh and sending me an e-mail about there decision to close the case.

I know of section 75 for buyers but surely if everyone was disputing everything we buy on-line we could all have things for free.

Any idea how to get this resolved? eBay closed the case after 8 days and PayPal shows transaction refunded. I have no item and I'm out of pocket.

Thanks in advance. I know how important this issue is to all who ever shopped on-line.

The DSR applies to goods bought over the internet
I agree you should get your product back. However,

''I sell only one type of merchandise and have over 200+ positive feedbacks and 100% overall ratings'' - Implies you are surprised anyone should be complaining about the service you offer. You are the type of ebayer I avoid. The one obsessed with 100% ratings and who thinks their service is without imperfection. Accept that not everyone will think you are god of the shopping experience.
Always amazes me to hear of sellers moaning of eBay. In my experience as a buyer whenever there is a dispute it is I, the buyer, eBay don't give a darn about. Perhaps they just have to like your face or something.
I've been watching this with interest - I've never had these problems, I buy and sell and I have over 1000 feedbacks from both activities, so I'm not a newby to the process.

griffindoor2011 lets not do business then. Serious issues are being discussed and no need for infantile individuals to pollute this discussion.
God forbid you got my merchandise the next day and as described.
I am sure anyone of your statue would not stand for perfection. High standard, not just standard, It's just incomprehensible for simple people who got here by mistake.

Coronation Street chat is in chatterbox.

I am not obsessed with ratings but with customer satisfaction. Things you obviously have no concept of if you are avoiding people and companies who do nothing, but the best for there customers.

Anyway, the issue is closed. Everybody is happy. Go rant elsewhere.
If you had ranted elsewhere first, ie: eBay then there would have been no issue

Remember, customers are important for you to make your business work and for you to make money, treat them with respect even if you think they are wrong
