Copyright matters

I am in dispute with my Housing Managers - sheltered accomodation (who seem to have nobody to control them), and want to publicise what I regard as their wrongs. I don't want to infringe their copyright. Am I at liberty to send full copies of their letters to orgnisations I hope to help me?

If not can I precis their letters or parts thereof?

I doubt there is a copywright on their letters. I dont see a problem with it.

I would advise you to go to citizens advice and discuss problem with them
first. Have you got a warden, you could speak to or a social worker.

I would agree with factor30 – although there might be logos, strap-lines etc on the letters which the company has registered, taking a copy would not be considered as infringing the owner’s rights to those marks.
