Hi, It's me again.Roughly how much would it cost with solicitors to remove a name from a joint partnership of a property? The property is in the name of my Daughter and her ex partner (who has agreed ) Thanks in advance, John.

If theres a mortgage its doesn't matter what your daughter and her ex have agreed, its up to the lender.
You need to get the mortgage provider's consent first as they need to make sure that the person taking over the mortgage can actually pay it. A few years ago the cost was upwards of £500, so it would pay you to shop aroun when you are ready. After all paperwork has been completed she then needs to make a will.
and remember to poll licensed conveyancers
who give a good service and are cheaper
Peter, I have no idea what you mean by "poll licensed conveyancers" - are you in the UK? The mortgage lender would arrange this for jonty in the UK.
ditto a mortgager may still hold him liable!

any conveyancer would advise you! i didn't pay much and i was selling, with all that fuss!
