Compulsory breathalyser in France

I have discovered that it will be necessary for every vehicle in France to carry a breathalyser from the spring. They cost between €1.50 - €2.00 and the penalty for not carrying one will be €17. Anyone know where I can buy one at this price? Thanks CS.

I expect as and when it comes into force the RAC and AA will be knocking them out along with their 'driving abroad' kits of advice and gizmo's.

What happens if the car has 'anti start' breath analysis mentioned in the link and the driver is the designated driver for a load of boozers ? Will it pick their breath and refuse to start ?

i think that is exact , it's a new information , you can buy in a pharmacy , but , today , nobody has more information about this !
