Every week there seems to be something that's dangerous that we have been consuming for years.

Amazing I have reached the age I have given my childhood diet.
mamyalynne can you not sleep either - I know I am vering from the above questions or postings but God bless us all - there is nothing like sleep. I have tried everything and am just after drinking hot milk but sleep wont come - so just yarning with you. Then I am groggy in the morning living life the other way round. night night . Have a doctor's appointment in the pm - havent't a clue what about altho I do have a lot of medical complications but not too complicated. Some how or another I get nervous going to doctors even the kid is about 30 years younger than me. talk to to you soon. sorry cant go into the above topics - too tired!!!!
Hi Conne - not an insomniac as such - more a night owl, I understand about the nervousness of medical appointments though, am just the same, hope you get some rest. ♥
I had a visit from a macmillan nutritionist who told me eat whatever i liked

Thng is, the Daily Mail will say that something is deadly one week and then say the same thing is good for you the next ! Coming shortly: Why a diet of steak and cola is good for you!
Im looking forward to them saying fish and chips or ANY chocolate is good for you. Then I will listen :>)
TOH Fish is full of good stuff (omega 3 springs to mind) Chips are beneficial as they compliment the fish. As for chocolate,, there is something good in it but I can't remember what at the moment. So enjoy !! :-)
Knowledge of the risks is useful, but ultimately life has to be worth living. I agree with moderation, but it's not likely to stop me consuming that which I enjoy. We all have to die of something.
Alba, I do eat fish but not the battered kind and chips are usually oven baked home made ones which dont taste quite the same as shop bought ones. And choc, I do eat occassionally but have to control myself which I hate :>(
No wish to upset anyone, but I suspect by the time you need to see a Macmillan nutritionist it may be a little late to worry about the risk of what you eat ? You'd already have a problem and would be looking for ways to deal with it, rather than prevent it in the first place.
TOH, I know :(

We haven't had a 'chippy' for a couple of years. It's always nicer when someone else makes it. Oven chips are a bit of a hit or miss.
