Hello I want this t-shirt but I remember being told defacing the Queen is illegal a long long time ago (I googled but I cannot find the law/act). I just want to make sure I'm not gonna get in serious trouble for wearing this.

You won't get in trouble. It's illegal to deface the currency, which might involve the image of the Queen, but the Queen may be portrayed however a cartoonist or artist wants and the same applies to altering an image as done on your shirt.

I think you'll be safe enough tbh I think, it's not offensive, and the defacement of the 'Queen' I believe relates to currency.
Well the fashion police might come for you .......
Why do you want to wear it, are you not proud of the UK?

If you wore it in some Country's with a Sovereign Ruler you would be locked up for a long time.!
Probably. In the 1970s Sex Pistols fans were wearing T shirts with a nose-pierced Queen so I don`t think you will be arrested.

Impressive. :o/
Sounds like an insecure little nobody desperately trying to get noticed
Well it made me chuckle. :o)
who's that, Dee-M-See, the Queen? She's quite secure, really.
hehe Jno - I'd bet that the Queen is also quite noticeable - what with all the security and everything ;)
I like it lol x
Not illegal. Purile, disrespectful, attention seeking but not actually illegal.
Sorry but I laughed too
The only way you get into trouble for wearing something is if it is deemed indecent, likely to occasion a breach of the peace, or it contravenes the Obscene Publications Act - none of which appear to be touchd by this design.
Made me smile.
haha ;-) love it
As it isn't the queen but some bloke wearing a wig and crown(or depiction thereof) you should be quite safe, just avoid certain pubs though.
I remember the whole defacing money nonsense when I was growing up.

I would love to see someone do it and then the establishment try to enforce the law. Reality though is, you're unlikely to black the Queens eyes out and draw a moustache on the face of a ten pound note then go into the Police station to show them.

I do remember playing God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols full blast out of the window.

As for the monarchy itself.....no time for them. What little purpose they served died when Princess Diana divorced then passed away.

They are 14th century yuppies that have lasted 700 years.
I guess it depends on the Queen's sense of humour. She might find it funny....you never know.
the muppets got away with it
