It will all depend on the circumstances and the level of injury. Please look at this link for advice on how to deal with the legal side of it.

Quite likely but it depends. Can you provide more details? Was it recorded in the accident book? A PI layer/ claims company would be very interested
That should say PI LAWYER not P1 layer!
That would depend on who was at fault.
Hi ummmm. I don't know whether you saw the post about you that was removed from News this morning.
No....I can guess who posted it though.
Yes, of course the company's liable. It has a legal duty to ensure the safety of its employees and, whether or not the worker is its employee, is liable to him for the negligence of the driver of the bulldozer, who is employed by it.
Another good place to start is with a union rep if you/he/she has one.

They should look after the whole process and no fees incurred.
As per what ummmm has said. If the company has full safety precautions in place and the person who has been run has breached the regulations, then I don't see how the company can be blamed.
I was a link to a press article

More information: quite a few people made redundant recently, most of them being the older guys. Staff training budget had halved. What can I do to ensure damages and/or compensation against the company?

When we asked for 'more information' we wanted to know the circumstances of the accident.
As to the next steps, the answers you have been given already cover what needs to be done
We need more info on the incident. What happened on site and how is the person who was run over? Is there a union?
Looking at your previous post, I'm wondering whether this is a real case or just a theoretical one as part of your studies
Is this an exam/homework question? I also you will need to explore all the issues about duties of care, health and safety at work etc
As risk of repeating myself and others...........

If there is no union (legal representation would be included if there is) then you need to go to a Personal Injury Lawyer.

The person is heavily injured. The construction site was on a large motorway which was being extended a lane. The bulldozer was reversing, clearing some rubble whilst the injured male was operating a pneumatic drill helping extend the lane.
Both could be to blame. Hope this is not part of your studies, because if it is you should be doing your own research, not relying on other people to provide the answers.
The employer and the employees both have a responsibilty.
The victim should contact a lawyer as mentioned previously
As I'm pretty sure this is homework, this may help (it's from the US but the issues explored are relevant)
