you'll have to look at their terms and conditions. What company was it - i'm sure someone will check for you
I've never applied for any loan where I had to pay money up front - you'll have to look at the small print very closely, they may say that it covers admin costs. Usually (depending on how you buy) there may be a cooling-off period - check your paperwork.
Have a close look at their terms and conditions as others have said- you might just be lucky but I think your chances are slim.
Incidentally, even if you did still want the loan your £70 would unfortunately still have been wasted I feel as (assuming you've had difficulty getting loans so that's why you paid) any offers may have been very expensive or some small print would have meant you could be declined
A link to the company would be good.
Did you apply by post; phone, internet, in person?
Did you apply by replying to a cold call, advert through the post or email advert?
From a family member's past experience I would say you have got a snowball's chance in hell of getting your £70.00 back.
I always thought the loan company gave you money...
the old 'arrangment fee' eh?

would hope the 7 day cooling off applies ...
