After I retired I applied for a credit card. I was told I must have PPI, even though I was retired. I have had the card about 6 years and have not used t it much or for great sums. I have applied for PPI repayment (I was retired when I took it out) and have been offered £9.99. Does this sound right?

it depends - how much did you pay? PPI is usually a percentage of the balance isn't it, so if you never had an outstanding balance, or hardly ever used it it could be right
If you haven't used your card much you won't have paid much PPI.

Have you checked your statements to see how much PPI you really did pay?
