What are your thoughts.
If the govenment taxed it we could make more money as a country to help our selves out.
Its proven that to overdose on it you have to smoke over 200 joints in 15mins which is impossible!
It would make crime drop.
Alcohol causes more problems and also causes more harm to the body. Where as Marijuana has no physical effects long term, only thing that might come about is being paranoid and thats if you smoke it constantly.

California is coming round to the idea of making it legal by a federal law as at the moment its a people law. its also passed in quite a few other states.

Would you vote to make it legal if it came to a vote and if not, why?

Mental Health costs go through the roof!!!!!!!

Idiot on a high in the middle of a railway line vs. 450 Tons of train mmmm.....

Let's think about this.........

No BAD idea (IMO)!
"Idiot on a high in the middle of a railway line vs. 450 Tons of train mmmm..... "

What on earth makes you think a stoned person would stand in the middle of a railway line?

i think people would be too high to kill themselves. you know its used as medical treatment for army troops?

if your drunk your more likely to kill yourself on a railway track. drinking can kill you. weed cant. yet somehow alcohol is legal, now thats crazy
but it could lead to looking for a better high

in regards to a bigger high, there are lots of different types. if you wanted a bigger high, you smoke a different breed of the plant.
I have several friends in the Police. They tell me quietly that they have little or no trouble from dope smokers ............... friday and saturday night drinkers on the other hand.....
It takes a huge effort for someone stoned on cannabis to move off the sofa, they are highly unlikely to be messing about on train lines. There is absolutely no proven link between cannabis use and mental health issues.
The gateway drug idea is a total myth and has been proven to be so by several studies.

I understood that regular use softens the brain. Don't think I want to contribute to softening anyone's brain.
LOL^

(that didn't even merit anything more than a LOL)
make it legal, dealers then are out of work, they would have to get jobs and pay taxes, their ex clients could hang around chemists instead of street corners.
there is more chance of hell freezing over than me voting to make it legal.
Chuck have you scraped a dead junkie up from the track.

@Starbuckone...there has been tests on people which have proven that if you smoke and take a test on IQ you become more intelligent...
they were scoring higher than when they were in a normal state of mind.
My friend's son smoked it. She came home one day to find her house ransacked and everything that could be sold taken. There was a message in lipstick on her bedroom mirror. "Sorry mum, my need is greater than yours" Selfishness in the extreme.
No. It`s not good for the brain or body. The cannabis smoke contains more carcinogens than cigarette smoke. California is so anal about smoking cigarettes - you can`t even have one in a beer garden so I can`t understand their thinking about making dope smoking legal. Modern cannabis contains much, much more THC than the dope of the 60s and has been linked to schiziphrenia (especially if someone starts smoking a a young age). I`m not sure if it`s possible to produce it in tablet form with low levels of THC for medicinal reasons as I haven`t studied it.

Do you drink Baza? your actually doing more harm than if you were to smoke.
"Chuck have you scraped a dead junkie up from the track."

No, but I doubt anyone has scrapped a stoned person of any track, and if they have I doubt it would be anything at all to do with the cannabis.
Dope smokers are not "junkies". If you ever come across a real bona fide junkhead, there is all the difference in the world.
If tobacco and alcohol are legal, then marijuana should be legal as well (as should all other drugs, but that's a different question).

i've always liked you Chuck lol
Christ, "schizophrenia" not schiziphrenia!
