Hi,
Because of a bit of a cock-up with my credit card payment I sent for a
copy of my Credit Report from both Experian and Equifax but neither report shows any details whatsoever of this credit card (which I have held for over 20 years)
Can anyone tell me why?

Seems odd. I would ask them.
Have you had a name change?
Is it a joint account?

Thanks for answering Factor - no, I've never changed my name, nor is it a joint account.
I've had the same credit card for years and I always pay it off in full each month but it just doesn't show up on my credit file.
It's not really a problem - I'm jus curious!
That might suggest that, for some reason, the credit card issuer has not lodged the details with the agencies, maybe by accident. Although it may not appear to cause a problem, it's presence on your credit report could be a positive thing, because it would show you as a good credit risk.

Thanks Pumbah - I hadn't thought of that - I'll maybe call and ask why.
