Abh Is Saying Sorry Admission Of Guilt?
was assaulted abh police saying now the other night hit by a punch while back was turned fractured check bone in 2 places 2 separate cut that required stitches and was knocked unconscious hit by something while unconscious that broke 2 ribs person has sent me 5 texts apologising and stating there so sorry i didn't deserve it, hes right i never opened or used his girl friends marmite! no i'm not kidding!!!!! are they admitting guilt?

The wording of the texts could be important here. For example, I could send you a text saying "Sorry you got beaten up; you didn't deserve it". I wouldn't be admitting to anything! Even if someone wrote "Sorry I hit you" they would only be admitting common assault; they could still say that someone else caused your actual injuries.
