Hi all, I want to plug my ipod nano generation 6 into my car sterio, but am unsure what lead to buy. I have seen leads that plug into the nano's headphone socket, and also ones that use the charger socket on the base, which one should I get?

Make sure the car stereo has the means to input the ipod though.

Thanks for those answers, I have taken the plunge and ordered the sort that plugs into the docking port on the nano, I just think it will produce a better result than the headphone socket, time will tell!
I have an Alpine car radio/mp3player

the lead that goes from the back of it and appears in the glove box plugs into the ipod's docking socket
