Fortunately this time his original light sentence of six years has been increased to eleven years by a panel of appeal judges, should the original judge be sacked for not doing his job properly, or at least made to pay the full costs of the appeal?

You seem often to feel sentences are too lenient (occasionally with some justification - I'm thinking of that case in Wiltshire a few weeks back).

Under who can complain that a sentence is unduely leniant it points out that members of the public can complain to their local area CPS office within 28 days.
So rather than tell us how the world is going to hell in a handbasket you could actually tell someone who has the ability to do something.
