I assume it's for refurbishment.
I'd expect your employer to let you know teh arrangements regarding redundancy/layoff/pay etc so you need to ask if they haven't said anything.
You also need to read this.
https://www.gov.uk/lay-offs-short-timeworking/overview
However as you mention Dublin the UK laws may not apply there so you need to research the Irish gov site
what does your contract say? What are the firm saying?
Anyone else think of Stanley Unwin when they read the title?

Have they mentioned transfers? If so I'd have thought they'd have said what would happen if a transfer couldn't be arranged
If Brighton, then they are bound by the rules above ( even if international )
and if Dublin - I doubted whether they have the Employment Act 1994 (which is cr+p anyway) - and they dont, they have this:

and I am not sure what if they want you to go from one to the other (depends how badly you want the job I think)

Definition of furbelow in English
Pronunciation: /ˈfəːbɪləʊ/
noun, a gathered strip or pleated border of a skirt or petticoat.
(furbelows) showy ornaments or trimmings:frills and furbelows just made her look stupid
Oh Baldric come on we all knew it was refurbishment

with possibly a little furlow (put on holiday)

Dont tell me when the Argies were shooting at you, you said to someone: I dont like the way they say - for you Blit, the war is over - when it isnt ! It's over for them ! blam blam blam

[sorry I have a war comic frame of mind]
Okay PP- the poster put refurb and the screen still contained part of the 'enter question details bELOW' so it came out as REFURBELOW (doesn't explain the S though)
the OP might just have been blitzed by auto-correct

(sorry, I can't actually answer the question)
Your first action should be to consult your Contract of employment, does it cover this situation? Remember Dublin is outside of the UK in another country.
If your contract does not cover the situation ask your employers their intensions, you will probably have the right to be made redundant if you have the necessary qualifications as you will effectively be laid off for 3 months, if arrangements have not been made to use temporary offices. Can the business survive 3 months without a UK office?

PP, I just thought it was an interesting word, one I didn't know, and being of generous nature, I shared it!
