Maybe this should be under Home & Garden but here goes..... my mum is looking to buy a static caravan on a site near the coast. She is buying for her children (me and two sisters) and her grand children (3 girls and 5 boys). What we want to do is set out some ground rules so that we all know where we stand. Do you have any suggestions that could be put on this list? Also what would be the easist way of deciding who can go and when?

My friend's family has an arrangement like this you're suggesting. What they do is the Mum has a calandar, and she books people's names off against dates on a first come first served basis. Everyone has to make sure the caravan is clean at the end of their stay, and she is in charge of sorting out the linen etc. Everyone pitches in cos they don't want it to be a mess for themselves or anyone else.
