We are due to inherit a sum of money from my partners spanish family. We are going to have to pay the equivalent of Inhertitance tax in Spain, will we have to pay any UK tax?

No, there is a reciprocal tax agreement with all EU countries. Make sure you get all the papaer work in order though, receipts, evaluation etc.
