I was going to post this story yesterday, but it seems like a non-story, it was all over the Daily Mirror. The new chap is 20 years old (far more her age group) and works at a different school. He's not her teacher, he's a PE teaching assistant at another school altogether. The press has picked on the teacher angle and made a lot of it - if he'd been a plumber, nobody would have given a toss.

I saw the headlines on the front of a paper yesterday and thought it was another of her teachers. Obviously, he isn't, so why it's front page news, i don't know. Glad she's moving on though.

She does appear to have a certain liking for older men, but at least she has waited until she was over the age of 16 before plunging in with both feet. She won't have to be dragged kicking and screaming onto that cross-Channel ferry this time.

I would not class going out with someone 4 years your senior as further proof that "she likes older men". A 4 year age gap does not seem all that unreasonable to me.

Nor do I quite understand why some people are instructing her to "grow up" - I would have thought moving on from a toxic relationship and dating someone more your own age was moving on and growing up, to be honest.

In isolation, I would agree, but considering that this is her second "wander" into the sexual paths of older men. I feel the mickey has a point.

I would not have thought that "she" would have considered her previous relationship as "toxic".........I bet she loved every minute of it.

This girl is someone that should be avoided, unless of course one just needed a one night stand.

this isn't child abuse but there's still a gap between 16 and 20 - much wider than 26 and 30 - and yes, mikey, there's still a hint of liking older men about it. However, it's nothing other people need worry about; it's normal and legal.
