To factor-fiction yer they put us in court together but we weren't together. So he pleaded guilty cause he was but I weren't as I had only had a two min chat with him on the beach then drove off, so I pleaded not guilty but I'm worried because I have been told that they nearly all ways win cause the magistrates just believe them and don't care that they havnt got evidence

I have three witnesses that can confirm that I weren't picking in the closed part of beach but the fisheries are saying they observed us Witch they never. They have no evidence and they had a camera on them so If I was picking there they would of taken photos, does any1 know if they can convict me with no evidence of me picking? And will the solicitor be in trouble for lieing about the beds being closed for e.coli?
Exactly, thing is I was driving off when they were driving on this is why they don't have photos but because I had a few buckets of cockles on Witch I had picked on the open part of the beach there either assuming I picked them were they say or they just want a conviction to scare people and this is why they are saying they observed me, but why not take photos if you were observing me. I don't understand the law but how can they convict me with just there word if I have witnesses who seen me picking them in a different place to what they say. I would of thought that they'd need evidence? But maybe not

You say the lawyer lied that the beds were closed due to e coli, but what proof of that do you have? He may have been told that the reason was e coli and genuinely believed that. In that case he was mistaken but not lying. You would need to prove that he knew the real reason and yet gave a false reason to the court, as I see it that would be very near impossible to do.
I'm sorry I'm confusing u all, the 1st thing is the beach is over 7miles long and only about half a mile of it was closed to cockle gathering. I had gathered were the fisheries have no jurisdiction so I was well with in my right to have taken the cockles. but I had then driven down to closed bed to have a chat with a guy I new that I had seen drive past so when the fisheries drove dwn they seen me coming of there so they took us both to court saying we were together, so iam not guilty that y they have no evidence I was picking there or we were together but there assumed this. I can't get a free solicitor because it's not in the interest of the public and the only thing that can happen for this offence is a fine. I have proof from the environmental health that the cockle beds were not closed due to E.coli and the bed was actually closed until June the 14th for small cockle. The fisheries are the 1s who tell the public the reasons why the bed is closed that is why it is obvious there solicitor was lieing to get a greater fine. environment and them work together to make sure there is not high levels of E.coli there and there weren't at that time.so they could not be mistaken they have taken two years to take me to court and the solicitor went out of his way to bring it up, so if he's not lieing his clients are.
