hi,i am a ukrainian lady who is married [3 years] to an englishman.i live and work in the uki have a full indefinite leave to remain status.i do not have a british passport yet.i wish to travel to france with my husband....question is...can i travel freely as im married to a uk citizen or do i need a schengzen visa...will customs people stop me boarding the ferry ?all replies greatly appreciated.
You'll need a visa as far as I know, if it is for a trip of any length.
Or you could hang on until the visa-free travel for Ukraine citizens to the EU kicks in :-)
Though I wouldn't go just by that of course. Nonetheless the list of countries allowing visa-free travel is very limited and hasn't changed much.
It should all change soon though as the Ukraine Government is pushing through domestic measures to speed up the arrival of visa-free for Ukraine citizens to the EU. I am not sure of the time scale though
